Lilly Vadaneaux

Lilly is a pianist, singer and composer based in London. She is currently studying for a Masters in piano at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and is an Oxford International Song Festival Young Artist for 2026/27. Lilly read music and was a choral scholar at Clare College, Cambridge, where she was also an Instrumental Award Scheme holder as one fifth of a piano quintet.

Lilly is the soprano in the Bruegel Consort, a five-part early music vocal ensemble she founded in 2023, which has been selected as a Brighton Early Music Festival Emerging Ensemble for 2026-27 and was the recipient of the Stile Antico Ensemble Development Scheme from 2024-26.

As a composer, Lilly has a strong interest in working with texts, and her works have been recognised in numerous competitions. She has been commissioned to write works for the West Wicklow Festival, Opera Cameratina Festival and Electric Voice Theatre.
