Oscar is a freelance musician and stage director working across opera, theatre and music education. He is a Trustee of Music & Theatre For All and is especially interested in art produced in community settings. He has worked for PMF since 2021 and is currently their Community Engagement Officer.
Outside of PMF, in 2024/25, Oscar joins Young Artist programmes with Waterperry Opera Festival and Create, the UK’s leading charity delivering participatory arts workshops in community settings. He has also worked as an assistant director at the Royal Academy of Music, Arcola Theatre and Waterperry Opera Festival.
In July 2023, Oscar directed PMF’s community production of Noye’s Fludde by Benjamin Britten. Performances followed a six-week programme of in-school workshops, connecting Britten’s opera to teaching about climate change and to the local area of Pimlico.
