Oscar Simms

Oscar is a freelance musician and stage director working in opera and music education. He grew up in Shepherd’s Bush and for seven years sang as a chorister at the Temple Church, London, benefiting hugely from the musical training this provided him. He went on to hold Choral Scholarships at Southwark Cathedral and Clare College, Cambridge, graduating with a First Class degree in Music in 2022. In July 2023, he directed the Pimlico Musical Foundation’s community production of Noye’s Fludde by Benjamin Britten and has since expanded his work for the charity, becoming their Community Engagement Officer in 2024.
