Pimlico Children’s Choir Programme Lead

PMF is looking for a proactive, committed choir leader to bring their musical and leadership skills to Pimlico Children’s Choir. Now in its tenth year, the choir brings together children from our six partner schools. Each week, the choir works towards termly community performances alongside our In-Schools programme and adult choirs.

Pimlico Children’s Choir Years 3-6, Tuesdays during term time, 4pm-5pm This one of two after-school choirs PMF offers. It aspires to be an opportunity for children in our partner schools (and beyond) to explore singing further.

In recent years, the choir has performed not just at PMF events but also further afield, including at Sounds Sublime Choral Festival, the Barbican, Opera Holland Park and Battersea Park Children’s Zoo.

In each session, you will be supported by a pianist and a pastoral staff member. Outside of the sessions, you will be supported by the Programmes Manager & DSL and Librarian. We are also looking to recruit a SEN specialist.

Start date: We are looking for this role to ideally start in January 2026 (or as soon after). Our first rehearsal of the term would be on Tuesday 13th January.
