Music in Action

Music in Action

This performance brings together three of our programmes, the Sing Out! Pimlico, our In-Schools Programme and the Pimlico Children’s Choir. Our special guest is Ansumana Suso who is a vocalist and percussionist specialising in West African music.

The concert explores songs that have changed the world in a variety of contexts from different cultures, periods and social causes.  Expect pieces such as Labi Siffre, ‘Something Inside So Strong’, and Bob Dylan, ‘Blowing in the Wind’ - just a couple of the many songs that have inspired change.

Music has helped shape our society. We are celebrating how powerful music can be.

  • A concert for everyone, with pieces you will recognise, and new songs you are yet to learn about.

  • Wednesday 2nd April, 7pm

  • St Gabriel’s Church, Warwick Square, Pimlico, London, SW1V 2AD

  • Tickets available below.

    Under 30’s go for free.

There is also a ‘pay what you can’ option, please email hello@pimlicomusicalfoundation.org.uk for details.
